This is a portion of a long/quickly drawn story I've been working on.  It was really not meant to be seen by anyone.  If there's enough interest, I might post it on here...

 Sometimes I'm more inspired by looking at a person's sketches and working process than I am by their actual work.  Is that a bad thing?  

Skateboarding designs

I've been  skateboarding for a while now.  It's probably one of my favorite things to do. Skateboarding takes you to a different place, which is why I've always been drawn to it.

With these drawings I wanted to capture the bizarre essence of skateboarding. The unutterable sensations you get when skating around aimlessly, your mind completely absorbed in the immediacy of the environment.  The images that float around in your head after skating for 8 hours straight, your body teetering on the brink of complete physical exhaustion.

You skaters know what I'm talking about.
